NEBRO is the new New European Bauhaus community in the Ebro Valley, an initiative created with the aim of bringing together professionals and organisations from different disciplines and perspectives to imagine and build more sustainable, inclusive and beautiful environments.
It promotes dialogue between design, sustainability, culture, technology and innovation as tools for transforming the spaces we inhabit and improving people’s quality of life and well-being in both urban and rural built environments. The project is driven by three co-founding institutions: Munkun, ECODES and MEDS Cierzo.
On 27 October, Zaragoza will host the official launch of NEBRO, an event designed to raise awareness of this local chapter and its proposal for collaboration amongst professionals, organisations and individuals interested in building a more sustainable future.
This initiative aims to forge connections between people from diverse backgrounds, foster the exchange of ideas and open up new avenues for cooperation and collaboration around the major social, environmental and urban challenges of our time. It also hopes to become a living laboratory that drives the launch and development of innovative, sustainable, beautiful and inclusive projects.
With this launch, NEBRO is embarking on a new phase to establish an open, cross-sectoral network in the Ebro Valley that is committed to transforming the local environment. The event also offers an opportunity to discover the initiative, meet the people behind it and join a community that aspires to turn shared ideas into concrete and effective actions for the future of Aragón and the Ebro Valley.
