NEB in Spain: Infoday and Meetings B2B

ETSAM, Madrid

12.05.2026 (09:30) - 12.05.2026

On Tuesday, May 12, as part of the launch of the new NEB Facility 2026 calls for proposals, an in-person event will be held to raise awareness of these and other opportunities within the New European Bauhaus ecosystem. This Infoday will take place in Madrid, specifically at the facilities of the Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSAM) of the Polytechnic University, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The event is an ideal opportunity not only to deepen understanding of the NEB’s structure in Spain but also to establish strategic contacts, identify potential partners, and lay the groundwork for strong consortia to participate in this year’s Horizon NEB calls for proposals.

The event will also feature the participation of the NEB’s National Contact Points (NCPs) in Spain, who are also the event organizers. Specifically, the General Secretariat for Urban Agenda and Architecture of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda will serve as the NCP Policy, while the CDTI and the FECYT of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities will serve as the NCP Research and Innovation. The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) will also participate, leading the organization of a B2B meeting among participants to foster cooperation and the exchange of knowledge.

What can you expect from the event on May 12?

The event will feature informational sessions on the NEB ecosystem in Spain and the new Horizon NEB 2026 calls for proposals, as well as two panel discussions with leading stakeholders in the context of the European Commission’s initiative in our country.

It will also offer participants who wish to do so the opportunity to take part in a pitching session. This is a brief oral presentation in which they can present their idea or project to facilitate meetings with potential future partners working on the same themes of NEB, sustainability, quality, and inclusion.

After the morning sessions, and during the afternoon, ETSAM will provide a space for participants to meet in B2B sessions, arranged in advance through the registration platform, linked here.

In addition, you may request meetings with NCP R&I representatives to address strategic questions. This website will also be used to manage the submission of applications for the pitching session, in accordance with the provided instructions. Regarding the selection criteria, applications will be reviewed in the strict order in which they are received until a maximum of 8 presenters has been selected.
