Two project proposals require your attention:
NEB Stewardship Lab (submitted by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences):
The overarching purpose of the project is to nurture the transition from climate anxiety to NEB stewardship. Its objectives are to examine, clarify and enhance the role of higher education (HEI) in the NEB initiative and codevelop the model of NEB Stewardship to make the NEB initiative more accessible and tangible for the HEIs and students. Non-HEI entities (e.g. cities, NGOs, and companies) are also invited to join the project partnership to provide a more diverse set of project partners that contribute to the model development and in the future test it in their own context.
Re-Building Europe: Towards a future-shaping ecosystem (submitted by Drees&Sommer):
Re-building Europe is an ecosystem of individuals and organizations that create enabling conditions for the sustainable transition: a cross-sectoral mix of universities, policy-makers, businesses, investors, property companies, architects, engineers, municipalities and residents with all their respecting experiences. The ecosystem tests and delivers transdisciplinary and cross-sectoral neighbourhood transformation initiatives by using interactive participatory design workshops. NEB Partners and Friends are invited to join the ecosystem, and take advantage of the cumulative knowledge and expertise to design the green deal into a liveable future.
