The 2025 Casa de la Arquitectura Awards ceremony will take place on May 29. The event invites interested members of the public, who will be able to watch it live on screens and share in the celebrations afterwards with the award-winning teams and professionals on the Paseo de la Castellana.
It will begin at 7:00 p.m., when the doors will open to the public, who can attend free of charge as long as they have registered.
These awards seek to recognize architectural excellence in Spain, a model aligned with the values of the New European Bauhaus, sustainability, beauty, and inclusion.
Through an annual call for entries, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda rewards creativity and innovation and, together with other initiatives such as the TAC! Festival, promotes the importance of architecture in social, cultural, and territorial transformation.
That is why the proposed categories are Adaptability, Cohesion, Innovation, Public Action, Ephemeral, and Research, each with a prize of €15,000. The awards are also aligned with the Architecture Quality Act, a pioneer in the sector and recognized by the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.
