UPV Microcredential. Acquire skills in NEB and Urban Agenda

UPV

12.02.2026 (09:00) - 20.02.2026

The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), through its Vice-Rectorate for Employment, Continuing Education, and Languages, invites you to participate in a new course or micro-credential from February 12 to 20.

These sessions will establish a synergy between the objectives of the Spanish Urban Agenda and the European Green Deal and the principles of the European Commission’s New Bauhaus initiative.

This course will consist of 30 hours of face-to-face lessons organized in the morning and afternoon on February 12, 13, 19, and 20. They will be held in the Boardroom of the UPV’s Higher Technical School of Architecture.

The working methodology will combine short lectures, practical workshops, case studies, and personalized tutorials. Each student will develop their own portfolio in which they can present their reflections, applied tasks, and progress on a team project that will be presented at the end of the course, a resource that has been found to be extremely useful for employability.

Alongside teachers from the university itself, representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda will attend, as well as the NEB policy officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Center, and representatives from the Baukultur Alliance for Constructive Culture.

It will also be organized into five modules that will address current challenges in ecological transition, as well as the urban agenda and strategic planning, the design of innovative projects, and access to financing. Registration, the course agenda, and other relevant information are available at this link.
