The European Commission is organizing the first participatory online forum of the NEB Junction platform, an ideal opportunity to discuss challenges, share ideas, and co-create recommendations to guide the next steps of the New European Bauhaus initiative.
This results and impact center, new for 2025, seeks to collect and disseminate practical solutions characterized by quality and sustainability, so that they can serve as a source of inspiration for expanding the NEB and facilitating the ecological transition in all productive sectors across the continent.
Several shifts have been set up for participants, spread over different dates:
- Session 1: Thursday, January 29, and Friday, January 30, 2026 (10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.)
- Session 2: Wednesday, February 4, and Thursday, February 5, 2026 (1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.)
- Session 3: Saturday, February 7, 2026 (10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
In total, the assembly will have between 15 and 180 participants, who will meet in small discussion groups, allowing them to exchange perspectives across disciplines and sectors and reflect on policies, tools, and best practices in Beauty, Sustainability, and Inclusion. But who can participate?
Public authorities, actors from the construction and building sector, researchers, designers, cultural and creative professionals, civic and community organizations, as well as young people and emerging professionals are invited to participate. This is in keeping with the spirit of the NEB: This meeting aims to bring together both experienced collaborators and new voices that have not yet participated in New Bauhaus activities.
The deadline for submitting the expression of interest form is December 11. Selected participants will be notified on December 18, according to transparent criteria approved by the EC. These criteria address the following issues: balance in terms of background, geography, age, gender, and sector; confirmed availability for both sessions of the chosen shift; and preference for newcomers and underrepresented regions.
This forum will undoubtedly be an opportunity to access unpublished knowledge and materials from the innovative NEB Junction and will offer new forms of collaboration between participating stakeholders. Don’t wait any longer and take your place in the assembly! If you are unable to join this time, the NEB Results and Impact Center intends to convene two more online meetings in late 2026 and mid-2027. More information is available on their website.
