Developed in Lorca (Murcia), this project aims to fully integrate the water cycle as a strategy for the renaturalization of urban centers. The initiative includes actions ranging from the renovation of social housing to the creation of green infrastructure and the implementation of systems for the collection and efficient use of rainwater.
NatUR-W, selected in the first call for proposals from the EUI, aims to be a tool for increasing the city’s climate resilience, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, and generating a replicable model of urban adaptation in semi-arid environments.
