Therefore, our organization has the role of a cultural speaker where to host and summarize activities related to the develop of the profession of architect and its responsibility within the city. According to NEB statement, COAS decided to align three of the most urgent urban conditions from Seville to review with the New European Bauhaus targets: Inclusion linked with those buildings or spaces in the city of Seville and surroundings which creation and connectivity allow architects to reinforce the capacity of our city to be an architectural reference as urban phenomena for citizens, not only because of its rich cultural and historical past but also through the next future to create new spaces for living. The main goal from Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Sevilla (COAS) is to highlight the different architectural responses that architects, planners and politicians are offering to the next future reality of Seville and surroundings. Therefore, our organization has the role of a cultural speaker where to host and summarize activities related to the develop of the profession of architect and its responsibility within the city.
Key activities:
COAS main goal is to support professional work from architects in Seville city and Sevillian surrounding Region. All members from COAS are allowed to sign properly under Spanish National Legislation any projects which need to be registered (visado profesional de arquitectura) and guarantee all services that an architect must fulfil through their professional services meet those Legal requirements. Moreover, COAS has different departments to promote and develop architect’s career: Legal, Cultural, Work and Market support to all their memberships.
