European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Cities of Ceramics limited.

AEuCC is a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) grouping 7 Associations of Cities of Ceramics in Italy (AiCC, 45 Cities), Spain (AeCC, 26), Portugal (AptCVC, 18), Romania (ArCC, 15), Germany (AgCC, 9), France (AfCC, 4), Czech Rep. (AczCC, 3). In total AEuCC includes 120 Cities. The mission of AEuCC is to develop territorial and transnational cooperation in the field of ceramic art and craft, mainly to create social and economic cohesion, by developing projects and services. AEuCC will: – start a discussion on the NEB topic in the community of ceramists (craftsmen and artists) – activate local groups, with different competences (craftsmen, artists, architects, designers, urban planners, municipalities, regions) – prepare a common project, starting from common needs and opportunities in the City of Ceramics – activate actions of awareness, dissemination and training – integrate its experience (specific sector over ten countries) with NEB Agency and its network.

AEuCC carries out 2 main key activities:

  • Promote constitution of new similar Associations in more countries.
  • Develops projects (in particular in EU programming) in the sector of traditional artistic ceramics.

AEuCC is partner of several EU projects: Creative Europe (ARGINET), Erasmus (Cerasmus and Wmn&ART) and Interreg Europe (CLAY). Projects are carried out in: art, craft, culture, heritage, tourism, design, innovation, marketing, promotion, vocational training, job&growth and more.
