The Higher Council of the Orders of Architects of Spain, CSCAE, is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation under public law that brings together and represents the Orders of Architects of Spain, as well as the 50.596 Member Architects. Its statutory functions include representing all architects in dealings with public authorities, “Promoting research and dissemination of Architecture in all its fields of activity” and “Collaborating with institutions or entities of an educational, cultural and civic nature, … committed… to the promotion and defence of the cultural and social values related to architecture.”

In recent years, we have prioritised the promotion and dissemination of the value of the Quality of Architecture and the Built Environment, its link with sustainable development and the UN Agenda 2030, promoting sustainability, inclusion, design and aesthetics, citizen participation, etc. The collaborative networks already created and consolidated between Architecture Associations/Centres, between entities linked to the adhesion to the Davos Declaration promoted by the CSCAE and between entities from the sector grouped in the Observatory2030 of the CSCAE guarantee a substantial capacity for dissemination in Spain covering the State level, the Autonomous Region level and much of the Local level
