Hac Te, the Barcelona Art, Science and Technology Hub explore and develop intersections between art, science and technology to boost the digital transformation of society. HacTe has been recently created to interconnect the actors in the digital, cultural and creative sectors in Barcelona, to foster and expand their already existing relationships, and to make Barcelona a global centre for training, research, dissemination, transfer and production and preservation of the intersections of arts, science and technology.

Our mission seeks to interconnect and encourage collaboration between artistic, scientific, business and academic fields, and the public and private sectors to take advantage of the multiplier effect of uniting forces and talents. Our conviction is that encouraging the relationship and strengthening the links between all these actors will bring us the necessary knowledge to understand and overcome the challenges of sustainable digital transformation.

- Supporting artists and creators through artists’ residences in large scientific, social and educational infrastructures.
- Making artistic production and exhibitions citizen participation.
- By promoting activities and partnerships that promote the transfer of artistic, scientific and technological knowledge to industry, facilitating new business opportunities and a green and digital transition.
- Coordinating academic projects exploring artist and and scientific synergies.
