Landscape Architecture Bachelors Degree. Rey Juan Carlos University.

The Rey Juan Carlos University, founded in 1996 is the most modern of the six public universities located in the Madrid region. With a current student body of about 46,000, it is the university with the second highest number of students in the Madrid region. The university’s modern buildings are distributed over its five campuses in Alcorcón, Aranjuez, Fuenlabrada, Madrid and Móstoles. International students are drawn to the Rey Juan Carlos University due to the high-quality training provided by over 2,000 specialist teaching staff. The annual intake of more than 5,000 international students, pertaining to 113 nationalities, can obtain any necessary support through our University Language Centre. We will enhance NEB program in all university and partners.

We are a landscape architecture department with 8-10 professors involved in the teaching of the bachelors degree in landscape architecture and applied research projects, national and European projects such as Erasmus KA2.

We center our experiences in the implementation of nbs, urban green infrastructure strategies, design of open space strategies, design of resilient parks and gardens, design of adaptation to climate change strategies. These strategies are centered in Mediterranean arid climates, the design of open spaces for arid climates with the use of low water requirements plant species and strategies with materials such as textiles, nebulizers, eater features to create thermal comfort in open spaces.
