The Care Lab is an international network of activists initiating a movement to transform Care, driving change locally and globally through human-centred design practices in the health, social and education domains. Their cross-disciplinary, mission-driven approach is built around a set of seven systemic design interventions to transform how Care is experienced today; from conversation toolkits that facilitate compassionate, equitable and proactive interactions between citizens and care professionals, new community-based care models that support for example ageing-in-place, as well as the introduction of caring practices within organisations to nurture our innate ability to care for one another and manifest a a new economy and culture of Care.
