UTOPIA, new collective living model.

Winner of the NEB 2025 Champions Award in the ‘NEB Affordable Housing Award’ category.

This residential project is based on four main objectives:

1. Promoting social interaction and community life
2. Providing housing solutions
3. Ensuring accessibility with an aesthetic, high-quality design
4. Testing a new social model of governance

It is a peaceful building located on a hillside in the French town of Bruz, defined by its developers as a large boat whose bow, open to the public garden, invites residents to enter an interior world protected by a glass roof. Communal vegetable gardens, summer and winter gardens, and a system that ensures the complex’s energy efficiency.

It includes 87 diverse housing units, including 12 duplex apartments with winter gardens, ensuring a variety of living options tailored to different household needs.
