New European Bauhaus: programs and financing.

Programs and funding:

Currently starting with pilot actions that began in September 2021. In the area of financing it will be necessary to reinforce the support offered by the European Union with other sources of funding, including private funding.

The New European Bauhaus will have two support frameworks:

  • Specific calls for proposals for the New European Bauhaus.
  • Calls that have included the New European Bauhaus as a contextual element.

Within these two support frameworks, which could be considered as the first major thematic division in terms of funding, and taking into account the transdisciplinarity that the New European Bauhaus project has, three types of impact or classification have been created:

  1. Transformation of places on the ground.
  2. Transformation of the environment conducive to innovation.
  3. Diffusion of new concepts.

Within this support framework, there are several entities that would be responsible for financing, such as Horizon Europe, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Single Market Program and the LIFE Program.

The aforementioned entities can be found within this framework, together with other entities such as ERASMUS+, Creative Europe or the European Solidarity Center.

Current and future calls:

At the moment there are few open calls of all the initial ones, as we will have to wait until next year for the arrival of new processes for funding of projects of or related to the New European Bauhaus.
