This website is dedicated to the New European Bauhaus initiative, as an action that ultimately seeks to improve the lives of citizens, placing culture at the center of European policies.

It approaches the aforementioned European initiative from the Spanish perspective. Therefore, it is shown as one more instrument that we have from the Directorate General of Urban Agenda and Architecture to exercise the role we have assumed by having been designated by the European Commission as National Contact Point of the same.

Therefore, this management center of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda is responsible for coordinating the New European Bauhaus initiative in Spain, promoting its dissemination, encouraging the participation of multiple agents and involving and pooling the various actions and proposals carried out or in the process of creation within our country.

In this way, we intend to join efforts and ensure that the spirit of the NBE floods the policies of every town, city or region in Spain.

Architectural Quality Act:

It is the first State Law on Architecture in Spain and was created with the aim of guaranteeing the quality of architecture as a good of general interest, having as its main goals to promote links that encourage the approach of architecture to society.

Program to promote the renovation of public buildings:

The Program to Promote the Rehabilitation of Public Buildings (PIREP) is included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and aims at the sustainable rehabilitation of the public building stock of EELL and CCAA, i.e., it is aimed at renovating buildings in which citizens carry out various activities, such as schools, hospitals, health centers, sports centers, etc.
